Peridot was founded as a storytelling company. We are inspired by you and are happiest when we help you hone your message and share it in Liberty Lake and beyond.

The Platform
The Liberty Lake Yearbook is our main platform, mailed to everyone in the community each spring by Peridot Publishing, a family company led by native Josh Johnson.

Each business partner is featured in an ad and story, which is also shared online at coffeejosh.com.

The Storyteller
As a marketing consultant, Josh has helped hundreds of businesses target Liberty Lake, winning several statewide awards for advertising campaigns while owner and publisher of The Liberty Lake Splash (2004-2016). These days, he focuses on working with partners to produce versatile content marketing solutions for use in not only the Liberty Lake Yearbook and coffeejosh.com, but customized for the partners’ various platforms as well.

Josh is a publishing veteran. He has overseen every aspect of hundreds of magazine and newspaper editions, twice winning an award for Washington state’s best community/tourism magazine.

A writer first and foremost, Josh is hands-on with all of the Yearbook business stories. When not working on a Liberty Lake-specific project, he profiles Inland Northwest coffee shops and shares inspired conversations at coffeejosh.com.

A third-generation Liberty Lake resident, Josh lives in the River District with his wife, Kim, two daughters and a Yorkshire Terrier named Fifa.
